Community

Of course, an open source project like Wheels depends on its community. We need your help, even if it's only an hour a week. Heck, even just letting us know your opinion about the framework helps!

Wheels Discussion Group

We do all the talking on our Google Group. If you wish to subscribe to the group, all you need to do is send an email to cfwheels-subscribe@googlegroups.com.

You can also access the web interface by going here:

Dig Through the Code

You can do a read-only check out of the source code on our Google Code site. Go ahead and have a look at our latest build.

Interested in contributing code, video tutorials, or documentation? Here are project guidelines:

Contributors

This project wouldn't exist today without the following volunteers. At least a couple of these guys have said that they're not doing it for the glory, but we're going to give them some anyway!

Chris Peters
Chris is currently leading and facilitating the project, writing documentation, and helping spread the word. Chris has a blog about web development as well.
Per Djurner
Per brought back some important elements of the framework after he rewrote the 0.7 pre-release of Wheels. Again, we can't say that we'd be here without Per. He also has a blog and still contributes to the project.
Rob Cameron
Rob is the founder of the project. We can't say that such a project would exist for the ColdFusion community without Rob's vision and hard work. Check out Rob's blog when you get a chance.
Peter Amiri
Peter has been working with Per for the last year testing and documenting the code and has recently began contributing code for features in the Wheels code base. He's also created a getting started video tutorial for Wheels.
Tony Petruzzi
Tony has submitted a few patches to the code base and has been hanging around in the discussion group. He has a blog where he writes about ColdFusion and whatever. :)
Mike Haggerty
Mike's been following the project for a while and has since created a video tutorial that showcases some cool features of Wheels. Mike blogs about ColdFusion and Wheels too.
